The symposium will be held this year as a virtual event based on a written discussion forum (ISHPMIE 2020 Forum).

Registration and participation are free of charge. Registration is open until the start of the symposium on July 27, 2020.

Role and responsibilities of the authors / co-authors before and during the event:

- We give the opportunity and encourage the authors to provide a short video or audio podcast (max. 5 min, mp4 format) presenting the key ideas of their paper as an incentive for the audience.
- During the conference (July 27-31, 2020) we ask you to read and answer the questions and comments in the forum
  regarding your contribution(s) at least once per day.
- Answer all open questions at the end of the symposium week.
- A closing word / conclusion / thank you is also possible during this period.

Role and responsibilities of the session chairs:
- Get familiar with the papers which are your session,
- Give a short introduction/greeting before the start of the session (as a written contribution or as a short video).
- Initiate the discussion with questions or comments for each post.
- Read at least once per day all questions and comments in your session.
- Intervene if someone becomes unfair or incorrect. Report immediately to the administrators when someone posts content which is not related to the scientific conference (e.g. political statements, racism, etc.).
- Give a short conclusion/goodbye after the end of the session (as a written contribution or as a short video).
