PTB's main site is situated in the northwest of the city of Braunschweig. About 1500 members of staff in eight divisions work at the 1 km² site. PTB's Presidential Board is located here.

The PTB has a seminar center on campus where the conference will take place. It consists of a lecture hall for 250 people and two others for 150 and 75 people. The rooms are connected by a generous central foyer, which will be used for catering and exhibitions. Other seminar rooms, e.g. for meetings of committees during the conference are very close in neighboring buildings.
